Yew Tree Nursing Home opened in 1993 and has been under the current ownership of Dr Samuel Appiah since January 2000.
At Yew Tree our aim is to enable older people to continue living as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their incapacities and disabilities. We value each individual who comes to live at Yew Tree and welcome enquiries from people from all walks of life and with many different needs.
All residents are assured that they will be treated with respect and dignity according to their individual needs and wishes.
People who enquire about our accommodation and services receive an information pack and are encouraged to visit the Home before continuing with their application. Each application is carefully reviewed by the Home's management, taking into consideration details provided by local authority Social Services assessment of need and financial circumstances. When there is no current vacancy it is possible for an applicant to be placed on a waiting list.
